Built in 1904, the noble Victoria Falls Hotel was the first hotel in the Victoria Falls. Location

The traditional Victoria Falls Hotel with the nickname "The Grand Old Lady of the Waterfalls" is located in the city of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, close to the Victoria Falls National Park. The falls are so close that you can see and even hear the UNESCO World Heritage Site from your accommodation. After about ten minutes you can reach the entrance gate of the park on foot and admire the mighty Victoria Falls for a small fee. The city centre of Victoria Falls is also just a short walk away.

Some of the rooms also have mosquito nets, air conditioning and a minibar. The entire Victoria Falls Hotel shines with the magnificent elegance of Edward VII's time. It consists of the main building with reception, bar, three restaurants, souvenir shop, spa with hair salon, two conference rooms and library. The beautiful tropical gardens including swimming pool enchant with picturesque water lily ponds, palm trees and a fantastic view of the Victoria Falls Bridge. In the background you can see the spray of the thunderous falls. The hotel also has two tennis courts. Occasionally wild animals visit the complex. WiFi is also available to guests throughout the facility. A laundry service can be used for a small fee.

A visit to the spectacular Victoria Falls is undoubtedly the focus of a stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel. Nevertheless, there are many other ways to spend your free time.
